Aoyama group participates in the development of fasteners for use in electrified vehicles since the ’90s. Aoyama group products can be found even in the first generation of the legendary Toyota Prius. Over time, the initial experimental electrification attempt has become an inevitable trend of the following decades and Aoyama group has become a pioneer in the field of fasteners for use in electrified vehicles. Our products could be found not only in HEV, PHEV and BEV electrified derivates, but also in truly high-tech hydrogen-powered vehicles. Many of our developed technologies have already been adopted by several globally important carmakers as a standard solutions for their electrified vehicles.
One of our developed solutions is the GS TITE® grounding bolt. We can offer our customers a wide variety of fasteners to be used in PCUs, batteries, electric motors, transaxles and other specific applications of electrified vehicles. These products can be made of not only conventional steel, but also of plastic, rubber, copper, brass, aluminum, stainless steel and a combination of these materials. Products with specific cleanliness requirements are also no problem for us.
